A beautiful day with perfect sea conditions and some very special guests on board the UAE Dolphin Project research boat. Dubai One TV covered our movements for the day during our transect survey along the Dubai coastline. We carried out the survey on the north section of the survey area with a view of the magnificent Dubai skyline, the Burj al Arab in the distance; it really did make the perfect backdrop for filming! The sequence aired on Emirates 24/7 raising some much needed awareness for the project. It was a wonderful opportunity for us at the dolphin project and it was also a pleasure to be able to share with the UAE public some insights on how our volunteers support the project and how much of a difference they make by coming out and joining the surveys. It really is a team effort. We want to say a huge thank you to Priyanka Dutt, her team and Dubai One TV for covering our story; we hope to have you on board again soon!
